Martin Graduates!

I am so glad for the opportunity READ gave me to pursue a degree of my choice in Bachelor of commerce accounting. At first it seemed a mere "pipe dream" which I thought I would never realize.

I am so glad for the opportunity READ gave me to pursue a degree of my choice in Bachelor of commerce accounting. At first it seemed a mere “pipe dream” which I thought I would never realize. Given the economic background which is poverty stricken and placing food on the table by my Grandmother at her age for the whole family was so sympathetic after the demise of mum and Dad when I was very young.

After attending my secondary classes at By Grace Childrens Home, I joined a car wash to pay rent provide food and cater for all my expenses and household needs for myself and Nicholas who was a day scholar at By Grace Orphanage. At the same time I used to serve as a volunteer teacher at By Grace something which was very hard to undertake simultaneously. At around November that’s when I met a lady sent from above who rekindled my hopes and dreams for the future.

For the support all through campus, monthly upkeep which was critical in making my studies smooth. If it was for me, this could only have been a pipe dream. I am really grateful for the timely payment of school fees which necessitated early registration of courses and thorough preparations for the exams the financial support I received from READ could not be realized even if all assets were sold in our village.

From “grass to Grace can be compared to from Car washer to professional accountant,B com and soon CPA( K),if it were not for READ how could I have been a certified public accountant? READ also ensured I have a competitive edge in the job market by financing my CPA professional course.I only have section 6 remaining for me to be CPA K.on behalf of my grandmother, family members, community and I, we feel very much indebted to the all READ members, I therefore offer our sincere gratitude to you all.thanks for making my dreams valid,I had second class honors upper division of 66.29. i missed first class honors by only 3.71,thanks once more and God bless you all.
